Technical specifications
A new unique concept in materials and hardfacing with tungsten carbide chip fused into a self hardening matrix with an excellent resistance to abrasion and impact.
applied with a low voltage high current constant voltage constant current reverse polarity system giving a non machinable hardfacing that cannot be cut or filed.
the matrix has a rockwell hardness of 60, the tungsten carbide rockwell hardness in excess of 90, leaving a working layer exceeding a rockwell hardness of 75 plus with the unmelted tungsten carbide at 90 plus rockwell.
this layer will retain its entire hardness and abrasion resistance up to 600 degrees centigrade.
